COMMUNITY ROOM IS AVAILABLE FOR PUBLIC USE

The Community Room at the Village Hall is available to use for events.   It is a great location to host family get togethers, baby or bridal showers, card clubs, coffee groups, etc.   There is a kitchenette and eight round tables that seat forty people.  Please call the Sherri at 608-879-2004 for more information.

SCRAP DRIVE FUNDRAISER

Parkview FFA Alumni will be doing their annual Scrap drive Fundraiser on Saturday, April 8th at the Village Hall.  Residents are encouraged to bring their scrap material to the Village Hall from 7:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.   Materials collected are aluminum, cast iron, copper, iron, lead, stainless steel, and steel.   Please call Kurt Toberman at 608-876-6771 for more information.

PAVILION RESERVATION AT PURDY PARK

There are two pavilions available at Purdy Park to use for private functions.  You must reserve the pavilion ahead of time.  You can begin making reservations for 2017 on January 3, 2017.  There is a $50.00 deposit due when making the reservation.  You will get half of the deposit back if the pavilion is left in good order.  

 

YARD WASTE SITE

Please remember that the yard waste site is for residential yard waste only.   People are using the area to dump electronics, appliances, and trash.  That is not what the area is for intended for, please only deposit yard waste!

 

SPRING ELECTION INFORMATION

The Spring Election will be held on Tuesday, April 4th at the Village Hall at 303 E. Beloit Street.  The polls will be open from 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.  You must be registered to vote in the Village to vote.  You will also be required to show a photo ID to receive a ballot.  Absentee Ballots will be available on Tuesday, March 14th.  You can vote in person at the Village Hall from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.  You can also request an application to be able to vote absentee by mail.   Please call 608-879-2004 for more information.

Dog Licenses for 2017 are now available.  Altered dogs cost $3.00, unaltered dogs cost $8.00.  Please bring your vet information with you when you license your dog.  The information should show the date of vaccination, the rabies tag number, and the expiration date.   A $5.00 late fee will be assessed for licenses purchased after April 1, 2017.
